I'm back from schoolies, y'all. I got quite sunburned, drank way too much, met some really cool people, made out on the beach in the rain at 3am, surprisingly didn't get sick of my friends and really, really wish I was still there, because last week was seriously the best week of my life. Now it's back to the gaping black hole that is real life. Which begins with telling my manager that I need more hours. Yuck. Really do not want.





Not a big fan. I mean, I dug the kiss. Mostly because it was a *kiss* (and the extended version? so fucking hot), but, it didn't sit right for me. Mostly the gum thing and Caroline's reaction when they'd cut out all the tonsil hockey, and just the general circumstances surrounding the kiss. I kind of expected to be disappointed in that sense, though, so. Meh. I'll get over it.

The scene with Sweets, on the other hand? THAT is what I'm talking about. Just how close they were sitting to each other was enough to get me giddy. "Hey! Get your own sex life!"

And, okay, yes, Booth and Parker and the Christmas tree made me go all flaily and melted snow-like inside, and "Merry Christmas, Bones!" may just have been the cutest thing ever, and Booth's expression as they exchanged thank yous/greetings/had sex with their eyes made me feel all squishy inside.

And oh yeah. Brennan/beanie otp. Srsly.

But the episode in general? Ehhh. Not one of my favourites.

I haven't watched the latest Heroes, yet, but 3x09? Ajwghwsdgiuyfgeuyf78rtgbhdadjsfgsad!!! Totally the episode I've been waiting for all season. Though I've been told 3x10 isn't quite so awesome.

I DECIDED TO SAY HI. Because this is the sorry state of my life: the most interesting thing that has happened to me today is that I ate potato salad, and the most exciting thing that has happened in the last three days is watching that extended Bones clip over and over and over. I mean, it's not that it isn't exciting, it's just that it should not be this exciting the 324827533857th time around. (Though, on the plus side, I have noticed so many things during it that make me ridiculously happy.)
Other exciting things include username changing, replying to comments and having tattoos drawn on my arms in red marker.

This would be the reason why this comment is so long :(

OH HAY THERE.

Now I want some potato salad. I haven't had any in forever.

I actually went looking for you the other night because I knew you were a member of unabridged salon and I had forgotten the name at the time and wanted to find the link, as I was in the mood for some original fic goodness, and wondered where you had gone :( Name changing is very sneaky business.

I've watched the clip about ten times. Which is almost 324827533857 times but not quite, and I still get fabulously excited over it.

I did see your red marker tattoo, and I am indeed quite jealous =P

My mother refuses to take me to the supermarket anymore because this is all I ever want to buy :(

I love that comm more than almost anything (that's actually sort of a lie), everyone's fic is fantastic.

I CANNOT. HANDLE. HOW HOT THEY ARE. I have come to this realization about five times in the last ten minutes but I rewatch the clip and keep forgetting until the end when I come to it all over again. I stopped making sense somewhere in there.

If I were less of a chicken, I'd get it actually tattooed there. As it stands, ouch pain oh god it hurts :(

Re: Bones: Yeah, I was way more excited about the whole Christmas tree thing at the end than I was about the kiss. I mean, yeah, the kiss was hot, but I was so disappointed the second Caroline dared Bones. The way the promos looked, with her grabbing his lapels, I thought, "Hey! She's taking the initiative! It's Christmas! YAY!" Somehow, it was slightly less thrilling when someone had to blackmail her into doing it first. *pout* (ALTHOUGH. "You must really like your brother." - "She does." - "I do." HILARIOUS.)

Caroline daring Brennan to kiss Booth all seemed like something out of an OOC/in the very least highly unlikely fanfic. It would make more sense if Caroline had expressed more interest in the two as a couple in the past, but apart from the odd remark, there was nothing. It all seemed kind of out of place.

"You must really like your brother." Haha that bit was awesome, and even awesomer and more sense-making in the light of the extended kiss.
