So. Merry belated Christmas and stuff, you guys!

I finally have some spare time (a whole week off work!) so I thought it was about time I posted, 'cause it's kinda been awhile. I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas. Mine was pretty average but great just for the fact that I didn't have to work. I *was* originally only supposed to work four hours Christmas Eve but surprise of all surprises I got called in early in the morning and spent the whole day dealing with annoying customers.

I had one guy abusing me because the 2L Coke was on special and, in true Christmas miracle fashion, was cheaper than the 1.25L. I explained to the guy that it was on special, no, I didn't make up the prices, and please, just be thankful and buy the bigger, cheaper one. He continued to rant. You know what he ended with? "I don't want any Coke. I just think it's ridiculous, that's all." Yeah. Awesome.

My Christmas wares included:
* House Season 3 from parents
* ACDC DVD box set from housemate
* PotC: At World's End DVD
* Transformers DVD
* Car stuff, including a new CD player, a sun shield and a street directory
* Clothes
* CDs
* New Moon (there was a sad defficiency of literature this Christmas; hopefully my birthday will yield better results)
* The mandatory truckload of fattening, sugary things.

Hmm. Today I also got my TEE results - I ended up with a TER of 95.95, which I'm pretty happy about, given my ill-timed bout of chicken pox and all. It pretty much gets me into any uni I want, anyway. Which is kind of good considering I only applied to one of them. First round offers come out January 17th or something. I'll be doing a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Theatre. Yay!

I also went and saw Golden Compass today, which disappointed me immensely. Especially the end, at which I was very much "Um, wtf? Did you lose the last few pages of script, or something?" and almost wished I hadn't read the books so that I could maybe not be so unimpressed with the whole thing. However: Lee <3

It's my 18th on Saturday. I'm having an 80s themed party. Am quite excited. Yeowww!

I hear tell that your icon journal is having a birthday today (okay, yesterday according to my current time but this is only because I'm a freak who doesn't sleep.) And I thought that we should definitely celebrate the birth of this icon journal, possibly with exclamation marks and \o/ things.

I am quite possibly the worst reply person ever. I should demand a shiny crown for it, or something.

:O My icon journal had a birthday and it didn't tell me? A wasted party opportunity and everything.

Thanks :P was indeed fun. Well, the party was. The actual birthday as a follow up was somewhat anticlimactic.

So how you? I really need to be more social. Or is that antisocial, given it involves sitting in my room on the internet?

Just letting you know I added you as a friend because woah, crazy amounts in common. Just a few, both call Australia home, I have an unhealthy Bones obsession, I agree with basically everything on your music list (Stars and Goo Goo Dolls tend to take over my iPod on a regular bases), Grey's once controlled my life (still does but has died down due to the disaster of S3 and 4), writing and reading fic often tend to distract me a bit to much , Black Books (and Dylan Moran) should totally rule the world, fuh realz. And the whole concept of pineapple of pizza just has to be thrown out the window, it does nobody any good. And that's just a few things I noticed.
